Main Menu and Animation/UI Overhaul


Good Morning!

For today I only have a small update for you.

First off let me just rip off the band-aid and show you all the changes in one video.

As you can see here a lot is different. I mean you saw the menu right? here’s a better look:

I made an effect that made the still images move around so you wouldn’t feel bored. Don’t worry though, I plan to add a full animation for the final release!

The second thing you may have noticed was the new health bar. I wanted it to be more stylish. Again, this isn’t the final version and I intend to make it even cooler. Here’s a better look in asesprite:

You may have also seen the new animations for the main ship. It took a while to animate the fire correctly, and even longer to program the animations to change properly. Here’s a look at the whole spritesheet:

I doubt you’ll be able to see it properly though, the best way to view them is in the game of course!

Finally, I just want to show off the new art I made for Space Opera so here you go!

I like this simple style I want to make many more art like this in the future.
